Kids Intro Hobby Workshop

Welcome to The Combat Company kid’s workshop, designed to be their first foray into tabletop hobby games! If your child is under 12 a parent or guardian needs to be present with their child for the entirety of the event.

 

Throughout the day the kids will be participating in three different workshops

 

Building: After a quick run through of the day, we will build a Games Workshop Space Marine push fit model using clippers.  No glue or hobby knives 😊

 

Painting: Hands on priming, painting, and basing the model they have built.

 

Playing: we’ll teach how to play a game of Warhammer; set up, moving models, rolling dice, and generally having a great time!

 

Each of the kids can take as long as they like in each section building/painting/playing, we’ll work with each of them on what they find most enjoyable.

 

Start time: 9am

End time: 12noon

 

Kids will not need to bring anything on the day. All models, paints, brushes, dice, will be provided. They will be taking home their Games Workshop Space Marine model that they built and painted.

 

We will be taking photos on the day that will be on social media. If you would not like your child to be in these photos, please let us know on the day.

 

Food is not permitted and will not be provided on the day, to mitigate allergy concerns. But we plan to be finished by lunch time.

 

Parents are welcome to stay and watch. We have an air-conditioned room at our location that parents are free to use during the morning. There are several coffee shops and cafes close to our store also.

 

All staff members are up to date with their working with children checks.
